As some of you may know (and for those that don't know), this year I was appointed Boise's regional chapter director for Wedding Network USA. It's something I'm thrilled about- I started this career with full anticipation of always continuing my education, both for the best events possible and also for self-fulfillment. And that's what this awesome new association is all about- keeping its members in the know, whether it be about owning a (creative) business, industry trends, or just an excuse to
Being that this is such a new networking association (although largest in the Pacific Northwest- read about it here), we're hoping that it will blow up in Boise with lots of members.
Members can expect professional speaker panels, topics like cutting-edge trends (lighting, photography, floral, etc), plenty of networking opportunities (we'll hold monthly meetings), meet the experts round table events, and lots more.
If you would like more information on the association or to become a member, we are holding two informational meetings today during which our national director will be presenting and asking questions. The morning meeting will be held at 9:30a at Java downtown (6th Street), and the afternoon meeting will be held at 3:30p at the Red Feather Lounge in the Wine Cellar.
