{Featured} Whitney + Brian's Winter McCall Wedding on Style Me Pretty!

Happy Monday morning lovelies! There's nothing much better than waking up on a Monday morning to an amazing spread on Style Me Pretty- and we're thrilled to see one of our winter McCall weddings featured today.

Whitney and Brian planned their wedding with us in a short 7 months- his season as a race car driver left them only a few months to choose for a wedding- and before we knew it, January came and the wedding weekend went off without a hitch.

The look for the wedding was vintage shabby chic, matched with feminine blush and gold. Oh and chandeliers- we often joked that this bride would be the happiest girl on the planet if all she could have were chandeliers and her man.

The ceremony was held in the upper pavilion of Shore Lodge. White chiavari chairs were paired with two vintage church pews for an eclectic, shabby look, and all 17 of the chandeliers were filled with white flowers and draped pearls for an immediate romantic feel in the room. From there guests were shuttled over to Whitetail Club for a cocktail hour and dinner. From the outside, the building looked like any normal building. But from the inside- a tent dripping with chandeliers.

And we can't not put in the most gorgeous wedding video we've ever seen, to date, by PenWeddings:

Featured | Caitlin + Monty's McCall Soiree

Happy Monday! We woke up with news in our inbox- Caitlin and Monty's southern September affair is featured on Style Me Pretty today! We have been (im)patiently sitting on all of the pretty photos from Two Bird Studio for months so we are so thrilled to finally reveal them. But first, a little background on this wedding. Caitlin and Monty spent much of their relationship long distance, including while planning their wedding; Caitlin was in New York for most of it, working with her Regas team, and Monty in Texas. McCall was a favorite family spot from Caitlin's childhood so they chose the lakeside destination locale to bring their family and friends from all over to one lovely place. I remember receiving the initial email from Caitlin- she was spunky and so excited to put tons of thought and detail into the weekend, and she's a letterpress designer, so basically we hit it off from the start.

Three locations within McCall- The Old Finn Church, Roseberry Barn, and Shore Lodge- and three design concepts layered to build upon each other-provided such an awesome experience for the guests; a historic quaint chapel to start, rustic barn complete with a lively folk band and spanning mountain views, and a rockin band, great food and gorgeous lake setting to end the night. In short it was an amazing event that had the entire Soiree team involved and we loved every second of it. Here are a few photos to whet your whistle, but do take a peek at the full feature on Style Me Pretty today!

Press | Tamarack Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty

Our gorgeous September bride Alexa and her dapper groom Seth are being featured on Style Me Pretty today; The Tamarack wedding was held at the Osprey Lodge and beautiful photos were taken by none other than Tana Photography. Here are a few snapshots from the event....and have you ever seen a more beautiful custom bolero on a dress? And don't forget to head over to Style Me Pretty for the full spread!

Xo,

Weekend Notes + December In Photos

It's Friday! Has anyone else felt like this first full week of work has been tough to get through? With all of the new resolutions in full force, it can add just that much more to a day making it feel extra full. This weekend I'm looking forward to finally starting on the boys' rooms- my type A self has literally broken the two somewhat overwhelming projects into mini tasks per weekend left until Baby H makes his appearance. We are giving big boy Kaden his big kid room (complete with loft bed, new, bright bedding, and his current crush- all things automotive and siren related), while Baby H will be receiving a serene and soft room with modern touches and a pop of color here and there. I've got inspiration boards for both rooms and will be posting them here soon so stay tuned! What are your big weekend plans? If you're in Boise you may be playing in the snow (I'm sure we'll have some of that thrown in with the projects too)!

Our December flew by (which is why this photo post is coming a little late), but was filled with so many good things. Some of our favorites below...

One of our biggest projects last month was a new year's eve party we had the honor of helping with up at Whitetail Club in McCall- here's just a little snippet of the goodness there:

The entire Soiree team had a rare moment together at the Idaho Event Professionals holiday party:

And we were delighted with newlywed Christmas cards:

And here are some links you may have missed over the past week on the blog and on Facebook:

I rolled out my 2013 intentions....

....And we started our Best Of 2012 weddings round up series.

I joined a book club....

....And have been loving this cleanse to start the new year off right.

And finally, our fall style shoot was featured over at Style Me Pretty last week- be sure to take a peek at the inspiration for the shoot too.

Happy New Year! We're back after a busy holiday season, and thrilled to start the year off with a feature on Style Me Pretty. We produced this photo shoot back in October, but the colors carry through from fall to winter easily, and feature my new favorite winter item too: the pheasant feather. This shoot was a little more out of the box for us- we not only worked with our good friend Tana Photography, but also our old friend Daniel Rosenthal from Yellowline Photography. We managed to mesh a gorgeous tablescape in with a full on fashion shoot, complete with couture attire including Badgley Mischka shoes that we all cooed over.

Here's just a snippet, but be sure to take a peek at the full feature over at Style Me Pretty, including the explanation and behind-the-scenes ideas for creation and our intent for brides...we think it, well, explains it pretty well. Hope you had a lovely holiday season, and we're happy to be back here with you!

Happy Thursday!

Press | Carlie and Matt's Rustic Glam Featured on Style Me Pretty

We are over the moon to finally be able to show you this wedding we designed back in December. Carlie brought us one little Tiffany box and some pine cones and we were off and running to create a rustic glam barn wedding. Sometimes it's so hard not to spill the beans when we love an event and a couple so much, but good things come with patience, like a feature on Style Me Pretty!

By adding a little sparkle to the rustic barn, lots of candle light, a mistletoe to kiss under, and how could we forget- a little cotton added to the mix, and the cold December night was warm and merry. Here are just a few snippets of the day here, be sure to head over to Style Me Pretty  today to see all of the pretty pictures, and we'll elaborate a little more on the event next week. Happy Friday!

Real Wedding | Boise Elopement

I love love love it when people go against the grain and something magical comes out of it. This elopement is such a tribute to everything the couple loved (and I love it even more because the bride is the big sis of one of my little sister's best friends. Say that three times fast!). Their Ada County Courthouse wedding was documented by Tana Photography, with their brunch reception following at my favorite little restaurant, Le Cafe De Paris. Thanks to Tana for sharing this with us- the elopement was featured on Style Me Pretty in time for St. Patty's Day- we thought the details and thoughtfulness of the entire event was something worth sharing with you too.

More of Emily and Adam's Ireland-meets-France wedding elopement can be seen over at Style Me Pretty, and don't forget to read their sweet story of how their day came to be.

~Happy Thursday!

Featured: Modern Whimsy Inspiration Shoot

We are so excited to be featured on Style Me Pretty again today, and this time a photo shoot with one of my new favorite color palettes. Who knew peach could be so glamorous?

This shoot featured something I've been waiting to see: a mix of whimsy, glamour, and an emphasis on fashion. Bridal Couture in Boise let me hand-select the wedding gown, and shopping for the get away dress and jewelry was one of the best shopping trips to date. Though we went with more of a high-fashion approach to this, we hope that you'll find ideas that you can take away and use in your own wedding.

There were so many amazing vendors that helped us pull this together, and we really couldn't have put so much detail into this without them, so a big thank you to:

Please go and take a peek at the gallery on Style Me Pretty today, and tune in tomorrow for all of the behind-the-scenes of putting it together.

Brandi
