Inspiring Photo No. 55

With Fall around the corner, we're loving all of the patterns, prints, and color combinations that can be used to really welcome the season. This week we're loving this tribla/batik print- would love to see it in a scarf, pillows added to your couch, or even on napkins for a late summer dinner party- alfresco.

A Designer Sight To See

We are always looking for ways to spice up your favor boxes, glam up your wine bottles, and even add a finishing touch to your desserts. Everyone's design process can be a little different, and sometimes you'll have an idea that needs to be 'cultivated' a little. This is why I personally love blogs that just give inspiration. They don't have to be wedding related at all; a font on packaging you see might turn out to be the perfect one to set the tone of your party, and those buttons you saw might even give you an idea to personalize your details of the party too.

The Lovely Package is a site that features all sorts of package design, and I love how it also features designs and art work from students. None of the products featured on the blog are necessarily wedding related, but you can gather ideas for container styles, color combos or patters, font and stationery ideas, and you might even be inspired to feature one of the wines at your reception too.

Inspiration For Your Indian Wedding

First, I have to disclose, these pictures were not of a wedding I or my company produced. These are photos my good friend Cristi Dame took while in India for a wedding. I just happened to pop over on her blog, and the beauty of the colors, the ceremony, everything was just breathtaking. We all love to be inspired, right? So I thought I would post some of her gorgeous photos:

I loved the beautiful ceremony backdrop of flowers:

A gorgeous hair pin:

I love the colors of the saris here:

Be sure to check out Cristi's blog for more images from her amazing trip to India.
