On my favorites list

There are just some things, or ideas, that catch my eye and I can't stop smiling about them. Some are wedding-related, some are inspiring, and some are just neat. Here's what's on my Favorites List right now:

For A Good Cause:

Brides Against Breast Cancer is a most amazing organization created from a mother-daughter duo. Instead of trashing the dress, brides can donate their dresses to this organization. Brides Against Breast Cancer then travels around the country, selling these dresses to other brides at deep discounts. All proceeds go to granting wishes of women living with this disease.

The organization also hosts the Pink Envelope Project, where more wishes are granted via bridal showers, girls nights out, birthdays, you name it. Donations are made in pink envelopes, often in lieu of gifts.

Coming from a family that has experienced this disease in many forms, and remembering family members that did not win the fight, I was delighted to hear about such a great cause.

Today's Bridesmaid Dress:

Jcrew
and Ann Taylor have finally succeeded in defining "Wear It Again". Chic, affordable, and the furthest thing from your mother's bridesmaid gown. Hallelujah.

Better Than a Guest Book:

Six words: Cristi Dame's Custom Photo Guest book. In addition to having to deal with her drool-inducing talent day in and day out, she makes us even more giddy by offering her ultra fabulous Custom Photo Guest Book. I really don't know how the gal does it.

More Than Flowers:
