Designing Your Wedding: Outside of the Wedding Magazine

Are you relying solely on wedding and bridal magazines to design your wedding? While these magazines definitely have their place- many great ideas can come from them and I would never discourage you from using them- but to really design a unique wedding and to open up your imagination you need to look in other places too.

Maybe you're hoping to create an overall feeling to your event; try using a picture like this:

Doesn't it look zen like and modern?

Or perhaps you're just looking to add a different and unique design piece that you haven't seen before. Looking at pictures like the following will help you to generate ideas and add things or put things in places that might not be expected, yet work beautifully:

If you look past what the picture is actually presenting (in this case, ads for appliances and outdoor furnishing collections) and look at the elements that were added to create the designs fit for a photo shoot, you will begin to notice your imagination and creativity overflowing!
